An incredible weekend just for women. Immerse yourself in the world of trail running whilst surrounded by nature. 

Guided by passionate experts, Caroline Freslon, a mountain guide specialising in trail running, and Élise Martin, physiotherapist and elite athlete (current women’s record holder for crossing the Vosges mountains), this programme combines sport, wellness and conviviality.

What’s included: runs amidst nature, technical workshops, a conference on physical training and recovery time in the stylish setting of the 4-star Hôtel Ermitage’s Spa 4 Terres.

DAY 1


2 p.m. – 3 p.m. : Arrival and welcome at the hotel, settling into your room, briefing on the weekend’s activities

3 p.m. – 5 p.m. : An easy-paced run near the hotel, technical workshops on the use of poles and how to manage uphill sections. Approx. 8km, 250m elevation gain/loss

5 p.m. – 6 p.m. : return to the hotel, free time to get changed

6 p.m. – 8 p.m. : conference on physical training with Elise Martin, athlete and physiotherapist. How to best prepare for a mountain trail run? The best way to manage uphill and downhill sections during the race. At-home exercises you can do to improve and feel better during your runs. Sharing experiences.

8 p.m. – 10 p.m. : dinner at the hotel and sharing experiences.

10 p.m. : free time for the rest of the evening

DAY 2


8 a.m. – 9 a.m. : Breakfast at the hotel

9 a.m – 1 p.m. : Trail run in the mountains with Caro Freslon to implement the advice given about downhill sections. The outing will include technical workshops and tips on how to improve your running. How to perform better on downhill sections, how to manage your effort… Approx. 700m  elevation gain/loss

1 p.m. – 2.30 p.m. : Lunch in a traditional setting tasting local produce before returning to the hotel.

2.30 p. m. – 3 p.m. : Arrival at the hotel

3 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. : Specific technical workshops on downhill sections with Elise Martin. This session will cover types of terrain and targeted strength exercises for better downhill performance.

4.30 p.m. – 7.30 p.m. : Free time to enjoy the Spa Quatre Terres. 30-minute recovery massage.

7.30 p.m. – 9.30 p.m. : dinner at the hotel and sharing experiences.

9.30 p.m. : rest of the evening free

DAY 3


7.30 a.m. – 8.30 a.m. : Breakfast at the hotel

8.30 a.m. – 1.30 p.m. : Trail run in the mountains with Caro Freslon. Approx. 13 to 15km, 800m elevation gain/loss. This day will be an opportunity to discover the most stunning trail running spots around Evian with panoramic views of the lake and surrounding peaks: Dent d’Oche, Cornettes de Bises, etc… The chance to apply all the advice shared during the programme.

1.30 p.m. – 2 p.m. : Free time to get changed and for the hotel check-out

2 p.m. – 3 p.m. : Closing lunch at the hotel and final debriefing of the programme.

Terms of sale

Offer available from 10th to 12th October 2025 inclusive. Reservation required and subject to availability. Your stay can be cancelled up to 8 days prior to your arrival. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. From 8 a.m. on the day of arrival or in the event of a no-show, you will be charged for 100% of the booking and this amount is non-refundable. The price indicated is per room and for 2 nights. A minimum of 5 participants is required for the event to take place. Once we have these 5 reservations, we will confirm your stay by e-mail. If we are unable to hold the offer, you will receive a full refund of the deposit paid.
